Black Men Xcel Conference 2023
The Challenge: Create a branded experience for men during Black Enterprise’s annual conference for professional men, Black Men Xcel, while increasing awareness of product availability at Walmart.
The Journey: Partnered with Walmart to create a barbershop where conference participants would receive haircuts and shape ups for free. The cuts were performed by celebrity barber + hair educator, Wade the Barber. Brand ambassadors seeded product to attendees and provided product education and regimen building highlighting product availability at Walmart.
The Outcome: Ensured product visibility with every conference attendee through inclusion in conference swag bag. Messaging was included in each bag highlighting product education and availability at Walmart. Provided product education and regimen support to over 60 men over the course of two days during the pop-up barbershop. Touched over 13K people virtually through social content via Wade the Barber.
